Analytics cookies only with your consent

stayn1.com offers optional analytics through DataFast. The script is not downloaded and no DataFast cookie is created until you select “Accept analytics”. If accepted, DataFast creates datafast_visitor_id, datafast_visitor_first_seen_at and datafast_visitor_session_count for up to 365 days, plus datafast_session_id for about 30 minutes.

What we keep in your browser

We store your analytics choice in local storage (not a cookie) so we can honour it on later visits. It contains only “yes” or “no”. Cookie settings in the footer lets you change the choice at any time. We also store stayn1_theme as “light” or “dark” to remember your visual theme; this preference never leaves your device.

Your listing key is stored in the same place for a service you explicitly requested: it lets you come back and raise. This storage is strictly necessary to provide that feature and is not used for analytics.

Your listing key

When you join, we save your row’s id and a random key in your browser’s local storage. It is not a cookie and it no longer lives in the address: keeping it out of the URL keeps it out of your history, your screenshots and our server logs. The key is sent to us only when you choose to raise, and it is what proves the row is yours without an account. Clear your browsing data and it is gone — and with it the ability to raise on that row.

Your language

The language you choose lives in the address (?lang=), not in a cookie. That is deliberate: we did not want to store a preference on your device just to avoid asking.

When you go to pay

Checkout happens on Dodo Payments’ own pages. Dodo Payments sets its own cookies there, for payment processing and fraud prevention, under its own policy — read the Dodo Payments Privacy Policy. We have no control over those and receive no data from them beyond the outcome of your payment.

Changing or withdrawing consent

Open “Cookie settings” in the footer. Choosing “No thanks” prevents future tracking and removes the DataFast cookies we can delete from this domain. You can also clear site data in your browser.
